Bryson Tiller’s latest studio album True To Self lands his first #1 spot.
Distributed a month earlier than its expected date of June 23rd, True To Self dropped on May 26th through Tiller’s Twitter account. The album was a follow-up to Tiller’s debut Trapsoul. Both have been released through TrapSoul/RCA Records.
The Billboard charts rank the most popular albums of the week coming out of the U.S. based off aspects like traditional album sales, track equivalent albums, and streaming equivalent albums. True To Self earned 107,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 1, according to Nielsen Music. 47,000 of that sum was in traditional album sales.
Tiller’s No.1 spot will be posted on the new June 17, 2017-dated chart in full on the Billboard website on June 6th.
