Schoolboy Q performed his single “Numb Numb Juice” for the first time last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

With only projections on a screen, no hype-man, and some backing from band The Roots, Q carried the stage by himself transitioning between dance moves and breathless rapping his verses back to back. Following up, Q debuted his newest single “Chopstix” that includes a Travis Scott feature. Though Scott wasn’t there physically, his vocals were clearly indicated.

Last week a Dave Free – directed music video was released for “Numb Numb Juice”. Some clips from the video could be recognized during Q’s performance. At the end, it was announced that we can expect an upcoming album “very, very, very, very soon”.

This will be Q’s latest album to be released since Blank Face back in 2016; which was on Spin’s list of the 50 Best Albums of the Year.

British rapper AJ Tracey released a music video yesterday for one of his latest songs, ‘Necklace’.

Right after the release of his self-titled debut LP “AJ Tracey”, Tracey links up with fellow artist, Jay Critch, for a western style take for the Necklace video.

You can watch below:

Directed by Hamish Stephenson, the video is filled with plenty of gun slinging, wild west feeling action as the two light up a cantina.

Tracey’s LP debut is described as “a mixed bag but still peppered with hits, inviting elements of dancehall, pop, trap, and garage to the same house party” by Pitchfork.
